She was born on July 1, 1925 to Esther (Gaines) and Otto Weber, in Newton, Ks. On October 19, 1942 she married Ora C. Breitenstein in McPherson, Kansas. He died on July 28, 2004. Bea belonged to the Trinity Heights United Methodist Church, Newton. She was a nurse for 46 years before entering retirement. Bea had worked with Dr. Arnold Isaac and then Dr. Charles Isaac for 43 and half years. Other organizations that she was active in were the Wichita Barbwire, Flatlanders Buckle Club and the National Association of the Belt Buckle Collectors. Bea made many lifetime friendships through her buckle clubs. In 2005, Bea was awarded the Newton Professional Business Woman of the Year award. She was a member of the Kansas Medical Society for 15 years, serving as President many times. Also, Bea was a member of the Kansas Christian Hospital Board for many years. Bea was a very kind and loving lady. She will be missed dearly by her family, her friends, and her loving dog Precious. Survivors include son Terry and his wife Nancy of Birmingham, AL; 2 grandchildren, Matthew (wife Brittney), Birmingham,AL and Meredith Breitenstein of Brimingham, AL; 1 great-grandson, Noah; sister, Alberta Harms, El Dorado,KS; half-sister, Marilyn Schoonver of Eureka, Ks.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her spouse Ora. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family greeting from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church. Pastor Cheryl Jefferson Bell will be presiding. Burial will be at 2:30 P.M. at the Walnut Valley Memorial Park in El Dorado, Kansas Memorial Contributions may be made to Trinity Heights United Methodist Church or Caring Hands Humane Society, in care of the funeral home at 120 E.
