Description	:	BISHOPVILLE -- Beatrice Bunting Megee, 88, of Bishopville died Wednesday Jan. 7, 2009 at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown. Born in Bishopville, she was the daughter of the late Jobie and Delphia Gray Bunting. She was a homemaker and had been involved with the family farm for many years. Over the years she had also worked at the former Selbyville Manufacturing Company, Selbyville Cleaners and the Bishopville Store. She was a member of the Wilson United Methodist Church and had been a member of the Ocean City Bowling League and Travel League, as well as a member of the Bishopville... Read More	BISHOPVILLE -- Beatrice Bunting Megee, 88, of Bishopville died Wednesday Jan. 7, 2009 at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown. Born in Bishopville, she was the daughter of the late Jobie and Delphia Gray Bunting. She was a homemaker and had been involved with the family farm for many years. Over the years she had also worked at the former Selbyville Manufacturing Company, Selbyville Cleaners and the Bishopville Store. She was a member of the Wilson United Methodist Church and had been a member of the Ocean City Bowling League and Travel League, as well as a member of the Bishopville Vol. Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for more than 40 years. She is survived by her son, Glenn "Maggie" Megee and his wife, Dianne of Selbyville; two sisters, Thelma Clogg of Dagsboro and Patsey Dean of Fort Mill, S.C.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Megee in 1974 and two sons; Gene B. Megee in 1977 and Gerald L. Megee in 2003. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Bishopville Cemetery. Rev. Dean Perdue will officiate.
