She was born September 25, 1918 in Pleasant Valley, Washington to Alma (Chapman) and Calvin Floyd Schuster. Bea married James Henry Miller in Goldendale on December 2, 1939. Bea and Jim were ranchers in Roosevelt for many years before moving to town in the 1980's. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Eastern Star and home economics clubs. Beatrice Edna Miller passed away at home in Goldendale on October 19, 2015 at the age of 97. She was born September 25, 1918 in Pleasant Valley, Washington to Alma (Chapman) and Calvin Floyd Schuster. Bea married James Henry Miller in Goldendale on December 2, 1939. Bea and Jim were ranchers in Roosevelt for many years before moving to town in the 1980's. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Eastern Star and home economics clubs. She loved to garden, growing African Violets and was an excellent seamstress and cook. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Everyone called her "Aunt Bea." Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband Jim, brother Art Schuster and sister Ruth Hardy. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel in Goldendale with a graveside service following at Mountain View IOOF Cemetery. Full obituary published in The Goldendale Sentinel; October 28th, 2015 Daughter of C.F. and Alma Schuster. Preceded in death by her husband of seventy-two years; her sister, Ruth Hardy; and brother, Art Schuster. Survived by fifteen nieces and nephews; and numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
