Beatrice Wilson, 89, formerly of Bowbells & Williston, ND passed peacefully on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 5. Graveside service will be at held at Bowbells Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 1:00 p.m., followed by fellowship at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bowbells. Read More	It is with sadness that we say goodbye to our loving Mom, Grandma, aunt, and friend. Beatrice Wilson, 89, formerly of Bowbells & Williston, ND passed peacefully on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 5. Graveside service will be at held at Bowbells Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 1:00 p.m., followed by fellowship at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bowbells. Bea was born Beatrice Marion Aune on April 24, 1926 in Battleview, ND to Jon and Ragnhild Aune. She moved to Bowbells and graduated from high school in 1943 and worked at the First National Bank until her marriage to Bert Wilson on June 15, 1946. Bert and Bea moved to Grand Forks where Bert completed law school in 1949 and then returned to Bowbells with two little girls, Julie and Nancy. Their family grew to include four more children: Shelley (Kevin) Kilgore of Eagan, MN, Jim (Arlene) Wilson of Boise, ID, Tom (Mary) Wilson of Maple Grove, MN, & Tammy (Paige) Smith of Bothell, WA. Throughout her life, Bea served in many community organizations, including Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Order Of The Eastern Star, and American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. In 1980, Bert and Bea moved to Williston, ND where she continued to be active in her church and Order Of The Eastern Star. They enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ and in 2007, moved to Mesa full time. Bea’s pleasures included entertaining, card playing, dancing with Bert, and gardening. Those close to Bea remember her love of bright colors, impeccable fashion sense, and her contagious laugh. Throughout her life, she and Bert enjoyed many trips and times with good friends. Most of all she loved spending time with family. Bea was preceded in death by Bert in 2010; three of her children, Julie (1953), Nancy (2000), and Jim (2011); her parents; five siblings, Eric Aune, John Raymond Aune, Olga Moberg, Marvel Jones, and June Clark; and many dear friends. She is survived by her three remaining children, 11 grandchildren, six great granddaughters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Croix Hospice of Oakdale, MN, who lovingly provided Bea and family with comfort during her final months. Arrangements were made by White Funeral Home in Apple Valley, MN.
