Read More	Beaulah Estelle Johnson, 81, of Pineville, died on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Oak Haven Community Care Center, Center Point. She looked forward to the day of reuniting with her husband, Lloyd Frederick Johnson; her parents, Floyd and Beatrice Alberta Strange Strother; one brother, Jimmy Strother; one brother-in-law, Harold Clark; and many other relatives and friends that precede her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018, in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with Dr. Chris Thacker officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Calcasieu. Born in Shreveport, La on September 13, 1936, she grew up in the Union Hill Community. As the oldest daughter, she became one who watched out for her younger brother and sister. She fiercely defended and loved her family. As a young woman, she worked for the Bag Plant in Elizabeth and later worked for Provine Studios in Alexandria. She and her husband married on May 21, 1960. When the opportunity came for her and her husband to become parents to their daughter Phyllis, she decided to stay home and be a mother to her family, which would grow to include a son, Jeff and later another daughter, Kristy. She along with her husband was very active in churches they attended. In Lafayette, she served on various committees with Emmanuel Baptist Church there, including the Baptismal committee and the Lord’s Supper Committee, in which she drafted her children to help clean up the sanctuary after Communion Sunday. She also taught many children in church as a Sunday School teacher. She loved to sing in the choir, being a choral member in Lafayette and Pineville at Pineville Park Baptist Church, Trinity Baptist Church, and lastly, Philadelphia Baptist Church. When she became too ill to attend regularly, she missed singing in the choir the most. Whenever she would watch a webcast or see a recording of the services, she would sing along with the choir. Those left behind to remember her are her two daughters, Phyllis Michelle Johnson Krebsbach and husband, Jeff; Kristy Anne Johnson Rachal and husband, Darron; one son, Jeffrey Kyle Johnson and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Kyle David Krebsbach; Jordan Michelle Krebsbach; Kendall LeeAnne Krebsbach; Kathryn Elizabeth Miller; and Olivia Jane Johnson; one brother, Richmond “Pete” Strother and wife, Karen; one sister, Elsie Mae Strother Clark; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Thursday until shortly before time of services in the funeral home.
