Rousey, who was killed at Alliance last Saturday. Mr. Rousey was foreman for a construction company at that place and having just recovered from an illness and having been confined in a hospital at that place had just resumed his work and when crossing the street he was struck by an auto with the result that his neck was broken and death was instantaneous. The driver of the car was exonerated following an inquest. B. F. Rousey, son of Mr and Mrs W. M. Rousey was born in Macoupin County, Illinois, June 14, 1867, being 60 years, 5 months and 5 days of age. He leaves one son, Merritt of Black Hills, South Dakota. His wife preceded him about twenty years ago. He also leaves three brothers and one sister, H. B. Rousey of Grand Island; Rev J. A. Rousey of Harvard; Ed Rousey of Alliance and Mrs Harry Caldwell of Grand Island. A brother, E. M. Rousey was buried in Edgar about a month ago.
