Born September 15, 1926 in Anderson, he was a graduate of Boy's High School, attended Anderson College, Clemson University, and was a 1955 graduate of Erskine College. Surviving are his wife, son, grandson, sister, and niece, Ann Humes of Myrtle Beach. He was the son of the late Benjamin Adam and Mavie Langston Cromer and was preceded in death by a son, Lee Cromer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Asaville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Harold Walters and Rev. Gene Price. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Downtown Chapel, 401 North Main Street, Anderson. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Friday. The family is at the home.
