Description	:	Benjamin Arthur Long Jaw, Mo'e'aoh me'eneste (Appearing Magpie) was born to Elmer Long Jaw and Jessie Limpy Long Jaw on June 27, 1945, in Crow Agency. Benjamin died peacefully at home in Billings, on Nov. 28, 2006, after a short battle with lung cancer. Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents; three half-brothers; and one half-sister. Ben is survived by his longtime companion, Beverly Montoya and children; sisters, Nancy, Barbara, Cheryl and Jackie; one adopted sister, Dee Krank; best friend, David Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and all his homeless friends. Benjamin died peacefully at home in Billings, on Nov. 28, 2006, after a short battle with lung cancer. Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents; three half-brothers; and one half-sister. Ben is survived by his longtime companion, Beverly Montoya and children; sisters, Nancy, Barbara, Cheryl and Jackie; one adopted sister, Dee Krank; best friend, David Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and all his homeless friends. During his younger years, Ben was employed as a custodian at Busby School and did seasonal work as a firefighter for the BIA/Tribal Forestry. Ben would "fast" in the hills surrounding Busby, praying for family and friends. He liked beading, canning, walking and listening to music. He loved visiting with family and friends, often talking about his younger days. Ben was a gentle man with a calm spirit. He loved playing his guitar and played lead guitar with the Moondogs & Lancers during his younger days. Ben was a firm believer in Ma'heo and we are thankful for the time Ma'heo allowed him to spend with us. Although we wanted him to stay longer, Ma'heo took him by the hand and led him home. We will miss him dearly and remember him with fond memories. We love you, Ben, but God loves you more than we ever could. We'll see you again on the other side. Love from all of us. Ben's extended families include Long Jaws, Limpys, Little Wolfs, Little Bears, Killsontops, Killsbacks and the Chief Dull Knife descendants: One Bears, Yellowrobe-Baileys, Eagle Feathers, Seminoles, Sooktis, Rising Suns. If we have forgotten anyone, we apologize. A wake for Ben was held Friday night, Dec. 1, in the White River Mennonite Church in Busby. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 2, at the White River Mennonite Church. Burial services were at the Busby Cemetery
