Description	:	Benjamin Franklin cross was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, Dec. 19, 1874 and died at Creighton, Nebr., June 23, 1922. Age 47 years, 6 months and 4 days. He grew to young manhood at Appleton and at the age of 18 years, he moved to the Creighton community with his parents, where he has resided until the time of his death. Read More	Benjamin Franklin cross was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, Dec. 19, 1874 and died at Creighton, Nebr., June 23, 1922. Age 47 years, 6 months and 4 days. He grew to young manhood at Appleton and at the age of 18 years, he moved to the Creighton community with his parents, where he has resided until the time of his death. He was married to Miss Ida Harder and to this union eight children were born, one having passed away in infancy and seven survive, six boys, Melvin, Charles, Louis, Edward, Willis and Frank and one girl, Helen, with his wife, his mother, Mrs. Emma Robinson, four brothers, Edward of Helena, Montana, Roy of Wausa, William of Auburn and Frank of Creighton; five sisters, Mary in the state of Washington, Edith of Auburn, Mae, Florence and Sarah of Sioux City and other numerous relatives and life long friends are left to mourn his death. For some five years he has been in the employ of a bridge construction company and will be greatly missed by his fellow workmen. He has been a faithful husband, a kind father, a good neighbor and friend. The entire community extends sympathy to the bereaved loved ones, the lonely wife and the fatherless children. May God help them to understand his interest in them and console them as only a loving, heavenly father can console and comfort and sustain.
