Description	:	DEAVER, B.F. – B.F. Deaver passed away yesterday morning at half past six o'clock at his home in Springdale. His death was not unexpected as it had been known for several days that he could not recover. He has been in poor health for some time and his death was due to a general breakdown of the system. Funeral services will be held at the residence this morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.W. House, pastor of the South Methodist Church. The remains will be interred in Bluff Cemetery. B.F. Deaver was the son of William S. and Sarah... Read More	DEAVER, B.F. – B.F. Deaver passed away yesterday morning at half past six o'clock at his home in Springdale. His death was not unexpected as it had been known for several days that he could not recover. He has been in poor health for some time and his death was due to a general breakdown of the system. Funeral services will be held at the residence this morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.W. House, pastor of the South Methodist Church. The remains will be interred in Bluff Cemetery. B.F. Deaver was the son of William S. and Sarah Martin Deaver and was born in Virginia December 27, 1849 and with his parents came to Arkansas in 1850, locating west of town near Elm Springs where he resided until 1880. On October 11, 1874 he was untied in marriage to Miss Ellen, daughter of William H. and Rebecca Holcomb, and by her became the father of three children only one of whom is living, Bertha S., wife of Dr. Mose Stearns, who was born May 14, 1879. Mrs. Deaver died June 19, 1882. In 1881 Mr. Deaver moved to Springdale and engaged in the mercantile business for a number of years and at the time of his death was connected with the Northwest Arkansas Lumber Co., to which business he gave his active attention until his health failed. On June 4, 1884 Mr. Deaver was married to his second wife, Miss Mary B., daughter of Dr. R. and Elizabeth Putman of Fayetteville. To this union there was one child which was born and died September 10, 1885. Mr. Deaver has been a member of the South Methodist Church since 1878 and a Mason since 1875. He was also a member of the K. of P. and A.O.U.W. orders. While the death of Mr. Deaver has been hourly expected for several days the regret at his passing is no less general. On all sides, and from all classes, are heard expressions of genuine regret and the universal opinion is that Springdale has lost one of her most worthy and best loved citizens. Frank Deaver ever blessed any community. While he has been successful in business his conduct has always been characterized by honesty and fairness and no work of reproach has ever been brought against his name. May he rest in peace.
