Description	:	Benjamin Watkins was married twice, first to Samantha Crick Watkins who died. He then married Nancy Ann Moore and with whom he had 10 children. When the Civil War broke out, Benjamin joined and served. However, due to heat stroke, he was then sent into the reserve forces and returned home. In 1882, just before his death, he filed a lawsuit against the sheriff for shooting his dog on his property. He lost and a few weeks later, died.
