Description	:	Benjamin F. Yetter was born in Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania, May 21, 1826, and died at West Branch, Iowa, June 16, 1891. He was converted at the age of 26 and united with the Presbyterian church at Tarentum, Pa. He was married to Miss Lucy A. Iseman, Sept. 6th, 1849. There were born to them six sons and five daughters. One son and two daughters died in infancy and another daughter died after attaining womanhood. Mr. Yetter moved to Iowa in 1854 and has resided in these parts ever since. He was a man of conservative character, a lover... Read More	Benjamin F. Yetter was born in Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania, May 21, 1826, and died at West Branch, Iowa, June 16, 1891. He was converted at the age of 26 and united with the Presbyterian church at Tarentum, Pa. He was married to Miss Lucy A. Iseman, Sept. 6th, 1849. There were born to them six sons and five daughters. One son and two daughters died in infancy and another daughter died after attaining womanhood. Mr. Yetter moved to Iowa in 1854 and has resided in these parts ever since. He was a man of conservative character, a lover of the truth and a hater of all shams. He was a careful manager in business and church matters. For a number of years he was an efficient and worthy elder of the Presbyterian church at this place. His devotion to Christian principles marked him as a man of Christian nobility and integrity. As an adviser he was careful and judicious. The church will miss his wise counsels, the community the influence of his personal presence; the family, a kind father and faithful counsellor; and the partner of his life, with whom he has walked for forty years, the earthly staff upon which she has learned to lean. The funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church June 18, at 2 p.m. A large attendance evidenced the high esteem in which he was held by those who knew him best.
