In the summary of the file it is stated: He was allowed pension on his application executed August 7 1832, while residing in Warren, Connecticut. He died July 14, 1844, at Warren, Connecticut. The soldier married October 5, 1819, at Warren, Connecticut, Mercy Gaylord. Their marriage was recorded on the records of the Congregational Church of said Warren. Soldier's widow, Mercy, was allowed pension on her application executed March 17, 1853, while residing in Warren, Connecticut. In 1855, she was living in Lockport, Niagara County, New York, and was then aged seventy-five years.
