Description	:	Benjamin Donald McMurrin was born at Hampton, Hamilton county, Nebraska, August 10, 1883 and died at the home of his father, in Howard county, August 17, 1916, aged 33 years and 7 days. In 1887 he moved with his parents to Norton county, Kansas, where at the age of fourteen he united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1898 he returned to Nebraska, where the remainder of his life was spent. In 1908 he was united in marriage to Miss Etta Buffington. Read More	Benjamin Donald McMurrin was born at Hampton, Hamilton county, Nebraska, August 10, 1883 and died at the home of his father, in Howard county, August 17, 1916, aged 33 years and 7 days. In 1887 he moved with his parents to Norton county, Kansas, where at the age of fourteen he united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1898 he returned to Nebraska, where the remainder of his life was spent. In 1908 he was united in marriage to Miss Etta Buffington. To this union were born two sons, Dallas Benjamin, and John Donald, who with his wife, his parents, Donald McMurrin and wife of Gage Valley, three brothers, David, William and John, two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Buchfinch, and Mrs. D. B. Peck, all of whom live near here, to mourn his loss. The deceased was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge of Scotia, and of the M. W. of A. Lodge of Palmer. His last wish was that he might meet his loved ones in Heaven. The funeral was held Sunday at 12 o'clock from the Presbyterian Church at St. Paul. Reverend Rominger of the M. E. Church officating, and interment was made in the St. Paul cemetery. The deceased spent several years of his life in this town, where he had a large number of warm personal friends.
