He was born in Tuckerman, Arkansas on September 13, 1937 the son of the late Benjamin G. and Floy Walker Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a McCrory High School graduate and later married Miss Naomi Pulley on June 4,1956. Read More	Benny Gean Jackson resident of Black Rock, Arkansas and former resident of McCrory, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from his residence at the age of 80. He was born in Tuckerman, Arkansas on September 13, 1937 the son of the late Benjamin G. and Floy Walker Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a McCrory High School graduate and later married Miss Naomi Pulley on June 4,1956. He was a self-employed farmer for many years and after retiring returned to farming where he worked for Butch Brogdon Farms for several years. He was a longtime member of the McCrory Church of Christ where he had served as an Elder for over 30 years. Mr. Jackson was strong in his faith and although he worked in agriculture, he always put God first in his life and never missed a church service on Sunday morning. He had a love for children, especially his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews going duck hunting with his son, Bill and grandchildren to following his grandson, Josh on Friday nights wherever he played football. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Floy Jackson, and one brother, Bobby Jackson. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife of 62 years, Naomi Jackson of Black Rock, Arkansas, one son, Bill Jackson and wife Donna of Black Rock, Arkansas, one daughter, Patti Smith and husband David of McGehee, Arkansas, one brother, David Jackson of Patterson, Arkansas, nine grandchildren, Josh Smith and wife Brooke of Dumas, Arkansas, Lauren Smith Nichols and husband Jonathan of Clarksville, Arkansas, Ben Jackson and wife Katy of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Clint Jackson and wife Christa of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Morgan Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Ellie-Anna Jackson, Allie Jackson, Isabella Jackson all of Black Rock, Arkansas, six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Josh Smith, Ben Jackson, Clint Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Don Graves, Steve Spurlock and Larry Winston.
