He was in Decatur about a week ago, adjusting his business affairs and shaking hands with his old time friends. He was a very old and respected citizen of this vicinity, having resided around this neighborhood for a great number of years, and many of his friends are shocked to hear of his death. Rev. Fowler preached a very beautiful sermon over the remains Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Teeters was peacefully laid to rest beside those gone before.
