Description	:	Berdina Wegner April 1, 1931 - July 2, 2011 Berdina L. Wegner, 80, of rural West Point died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. She was born a triplet on April 1, 1931, in Cuming County, southeast of West Point, to J. Herman and Henny Meyer Drieling. She attended District 46 country school and was a 1949 graduate of West Point Public High School. She married Harold D. Wegner on April 29, 1959. Read More	Berdina Wegner April 1, 1931 - July 2, 2011 Berdina L. Wegner, 80, of rural West Point died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. She was born a triplet on April 1, 1931, in Cuming County, southeast of West Point, to J. Herman and Henny Meyer Drieling. She attended District 46 country school and was a 1949 graduate of West Point Public High School. She married Harold D. Wegner on April 29, 1959. The couple farmed and raised their family on the county line. In later years, she worked at IBP, Hoegemeyer, J.P. Originals, and ran the cucumber station in West Point. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and played organ. She was a member and past officer of L.C.W. Survivors include: her husband, Harold of West Point; daughter, Lori (Keith) Stieren of West Point; sons, LeRoy Wegner and Lynn (Mary Beth) Wegner, all of West Point, and Loren (Nancy Wordekemper) Wegner of Scribner; sister, Bernita Terkildsen of Scribner; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. The funeral was this morning at St. John's Lutheran Church on the Dodge/Cuming County Line with Vicar J. Schmitz officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Stokely Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
