Riepma was born November 13, 1927, in Castlewood, South Dakota, the son of Tony and Tena (Rlndels) Riepma. He married Annetta Sankey in Orange City on April 5, 1946. He served in the infantry of the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked In construction most of his life and was most recently employed at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull. He was a member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, fishing and bowling. Survivors include his wife; 12 children and their spouses, Cheryl Prins; of Sioux, Falls, Rodger and Marilyn Riepma of Memphis, Tennessee; Duane and Marlene Riepmam of Raymond, Minnesota, Martin and Sue Moeller of Sioux Center, Randy Riepma of Denver, Colorado, Larry and Ruth Riemersma of Sioux Center, Charles and Elaine Zomermaand of Struble, Mike and Sally Vander Weide of Spencer, Mike and Kerrle Riepma of Le Mars, Todd and Debra Ter Haar of Sioux Center, Dave and Cindy Slothouber of Springtown, Texas, and Tony Riepma of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Edward and wife Nellie of Sheldon; four sisters, Mona Wiersma of Orange City, Marylou Noteboom and husband Arie of Alton, Linda Van Otterloo and husband Norm of Orange City and Harriet Fedders of Orange City; 32 grandchildren: and four great-grandchildren.
