Description	:	MAN DIES AT WHEEL OF HIS CAR A motorist died of a heart attack at the wheel of his car on Wayside Avenue in Funkstown late yesterday afternoon. He was Bernard R. Ball, 64, of Funkstown. State Trooper Glenn Bowman said Ball's car went out of control when he suffered his fatal attack. The car swerved to the left side of the street and ran into a parked auto belonging to Theodore D. Spielman, Funkstown. Ball was pronounced deat at the scene and his body was taken to the A. K.Coffman Funeral Home. Son of Bernard MacGuire and Thalia Virginia (Boteler) Ball, he was born and reared in Funkstown where he lived his entire life. A veteran of World War 1, he was a clerk at the Western Maryland Railway freight office for more than 40 years prior to his retirement on April 3, 1953. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the deceased also belonged to the Hagerstown Lodge of the Elks, the Dixon Troxell Post of the American Legion, and the Funkstown Fire Company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ola Kerfoot Ball, and four nephews. The body was removed to the Coffman Funeral Home, where the Holy Name Society will meet for prayers this evening at 7 o'clock.
