Description	:	Bernetta A. Woster, 88, of Zearing and formerly McCallsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Zearing Health Care Center surrounded by her loving daughters. A visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg. Her funeral service will immediately follow the visitation qand be at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kathy Sandmann officiating. Burial will follow in Warren Township Cemetery in McCallsburg. Bernetta was born on Aug. 28, 1929, in Elbow Lake, Minn. She was raised in McCallsburg and graduated from McCallsburg High School in 1947. Shortly after graduation, she married Marion Woster on Aug. 24, 1947, in Nevada. The couple raised their family in rural McCallsburg. Bernetta worked at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada for 30 years before retiring in 1994. In 1998, Marion and Bernetta moved to Ames. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg. Bernetta loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, listening to country western music, and collecting bells, dolls and anything to do with chickens or birds. Those left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Jan (Bob) Robinson, of Colo, and Lori (Tom) Mitton, of West Des Moines; grandchildren, Scott (Brandi) Robinson, and children, Drew and Luke Robinson, Brent (Laura) Robinson, and children Ethan and Josie Robinson, and Noah and Jillian Gibbons, Craig (Jill) Robinson, and children, Nora Robinson and Spencer Hansen, Renee Woster Wright, Abigail (Tonio) Ortiz, and children, Benny and Rico Ortiz, and Christopher Mitton; sisters-in-law, Shirley Woster and Connie Woster; brother-in-law, Max Larson; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Bernetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion; son, Marty; brothers, Owen, Dale, Donald and Wayne; and sister, Orene Risdal. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Fredregill Family Funeral Home, in Zearing, has been entrusted with the care of Bernetta and her family.
