Description	:	Bernice G. Helser, 88, of Kearney, formerly of Shelton, died Monday, March 5, 2012, at Mount Carmel Home Keens Memorial in Kearney. Bernice, was born Dec. 20, 1923, in Shelton to Lloyd and LaVina (Nelson) Camp. On Nov. 22, 1946, she married Robert Q. Helser in Smith Center, Kan. He preceded her in death. Read More	Bernice G. Helser, 88, of Kearney, formerly of Shelton, died Monday, March 5, 2012, at Mount Carmel Home Keens Memorial in Kearney. Bernice, was born Dec. 20, 1923, in Shelton to Lloyd and LaVina (Nelson) Camp. On Nov. 22, 1946, she married Robert Q. Helser in Smith Center, Kan. He preceded her in death. Survivors are: sister-in-law, June Watson of Wood River; nieces, Beverly Anderson and her husband, Gary, Peggy Bartholomew and her husband, Don, and Nancy Brake and her husband, Carey; and nephews, Gary Camp and his wife, Patty, and John Watson and his wife, Heidi. Bernice received her education from Shelton High School and graduated in 1941. She and Robert farmed north of Shelton. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Shelton United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Burial was in the Shelton Cemetery, Shelton, NE. Published in Kearney Hub on March 8, 2012
