Bernice was born September 8, 1925 in Omaha to Gustalf and Lena (Scholting) Carlson. She grew up in Omaha and received her education there. On October 11, 1947, Bernice was married in Omaha to Loren W. Giebler. Fremont was their home all their married years. Loren was with Hormel’s. She was preceded in death by her husband in May of 2009, her parents, and 2 brothers. Survivors: daughter – Sharon and husband Thomas Rowe of Amelia Island, Florida son – Randy and wife Michele Giebler of Fremont 3 grandchildren – Davis and wife Hilary Rowe Tara Rowe Dan and wife Cassie Giebler 4 great grandchildren The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday (Dec. 29th) at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Hall. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Monday (Dec. 28th) from 3 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 5:30 to 7:30 PM." Published at Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, Nebraska.
