Warnke of Nashua, passed away early Sunday morning at the Choteau hospital. The sister is Miss Arlene Berg, who was formerly employed at the Choteau hospital. Bernice Mildred Warnke was born in Estherville, Iowa, Sept. 10, 1911, being the fourth child of Mrs. and Mrs. Swen J. Berg. When nearly two years old she moved with her parents to Hodges, Mont. She attended the public schools of that city and was graduated from high school there in 1925. Thereafter she has made her home there in Hodges, moving from there with her parents to Nashua in 1934. In 1935 she was united in marriage to Lyle W. Warnke, and to this union were born one daughter, Patricia Loy, aged two years, and one son, Lyle Howard, aged seven months. After her marriage in Nashua, she made her home in Wolf Point where her husband was employed in newspaper work. Later, in 1935, she moved again to Nashua after Mr. Warnke became engaged in government work at Fort Peck and where she has since made her home. The deceased was christened in the Lutheran faith and was a firm believer in her church. She leaves besides her husband and children, her bereaved parents, Mr. and Mrs. Swen Berg of Chinook; three brothers, Marvin of Harlem, Selmer of Fallon, and Floyd of Glendive; and three sisters, Mrs. Marie Roberts and Lucille, of Evansville, Wisconsin, and Miss Arlene Berg now of Nashua. One brother, Julius, preceded her in death in 1912, at the age of 4 years. Funeral services were held from the Roberts funeral home in Choteau Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in Choteau cemetery.
