Description	:	KERSHAW - JONES On Thursday, June 1, at the Congregational church in Silver Creek, at three o'clock in the afternoon, Miss Berniece Kershaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Kershaw of Silver Creek, became the bride of Myron W. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Jones of Osceola. The bride was given away by her father and was attired in white satin with wreath and veil. Read More	KERSHAW - JONES On Thursday, June 1, at the Congregational church in Silver Creek, at three o'clock in the afternoon, Miss Berniece Kershaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Kershaw of Silver Creek, became the bride of Myron W. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Jones of Osceola. The bride was given away by her father and was attired in white satin with wreath and veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses and was attended by her two sisters, Misses Margaret and June Kershaw, Margaret, as maid of honor wearing a peach colored taffeta floor length gown, and June a similar gown of powder blue with white accessories. Their bouquets were pink snapdragons and carnations. Earl Jones, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. Both wore dark suits. Robert Blenkin of Eldorado, Kansas and Orville Jones were ushers. Rev. Beebe performed the ceremony. Norman Carter sang "I Love You Truly", and Mrs. J.W. Carter played the wedding march. A reception was held at the home following the ceremony for the immediate relatives and a few close friends. The dining room table was covered with a large lace table cloth, the centerpiece being a three-tier wedding cake. Both of these popular young folks are well known in this community, the bride being a graduate of the Silver Creek high school, and the bridegroom a graduate of the Osceola high school. They left Thursday evening for Wyoming and Colorado to spend their honeymoon, the brides traveling costume being a beige and brown ensemble with tan and brown accessories.
