Description	:	Mr. Nyenhnis Passed Away Thursday Night After A Lingering Illness of Eight Years. Mr. Bert Nyenhuis, aged 55 years, who had been ill for the past eight years, and a shut-in for five years, passed away at his home here Thursday night, November 25th. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, December 1st, from the home and from the Christian Reformed Church of Hull in charge of Rev. Triesenberg of Rock Valley and Rev. A. OBITUARY Bert Nyenhuis was born on September 29, 1888, in the Netherlands, and came to America and settled in Sioux county in the year 1891. On February 21, 1911, he was united in marriage to Miss Alice Van Pykeren and they resided on a farm north of Hull for 17 years, and then moved to Hull where Mr. Nyenhuis engaged in the trucking business. He leaves to mourn his departure his beloved wife; two brothers, Wm. of Rock Rapids and Abel of Hull; and one sister, Winnie (Mrs. Henry Vander Burgt) of Hull. Nephews of the deceased were pallbearers at the funeral. The sincere sympathy of a host of friends and The Index is extended to the bereaved relatives. Sioux County Index 1943-12-02.
