Deceased was born in Norway on April 27th, 1861. She came with her parents from Norway to Northfield, Minnesota, when a child. On Nov. 30th, 1877, she was united in marriage to Anund Hougestol. Read More	Celebrated Diamond Wedding In 1937; Passed Away May 2nd Mrs. Bertha Hougestol, wife of Anund Hougestol of Camrose passed away at St. Mary's hospital, on May 2nd, after a short illness, at the age of 79 years and five days. Deceased was born in Norway on April 27th, 1861. She came with her parents from Norway to Northfield, Minnesota, when a child. On Nov. 30th, 1877, she was united in marriage to Anund Hougestol. They moved to Canada on June 8th, 1898, and settled at Stoney Creek where they resided for one year, then moved to Crooked Lake district where they lived for 12 years. In 1911, they took up residence at Lake Demay and lived there 12 years, then moved to their present home in Camrose. Mr. and Mrs. Hougestol celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary on Nov. 30, 1937 at Camrose. Deceased leaves her husband, four sons, namely, Anton and Albert of Millet, Edwin of Pollock, Cal., John at Vancouver, B.C.; and five daughters, Mrs. Elvin Lee of Gwynne, Mrs. Harold Wilcox, of Camrose, Minna of Toronto, and Mrs. Hanson of Prince Rupert, B.C., Mrs. McWhirter at Lake Demay.
