Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Abram Judy, Reggie Judy Jr., Mike Bone, Johnny Bloodworth, Tracy Dyches and Gene Bell. Bertha went to be with her heavenly father and loved ones on March 16, 2012. She was so loved by her family, church family and the community. Her passion was to see her children and grandchildren to knock upon her door to just see how Mom and Grandma was doing. Mrs. Judy was born Dec. 5, 1926, in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late James Henry Bloodworth Sr. and the late Maggie Dempsey Bloodworth McCollum. She was a member of Columbia Road Church of God. She was retired from Utica Tool Co. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Henry Bloodworth Jr. and Eugene Bloodworth; and two sisters, Magnolia Bloodworth Cherry and Ida Pearl Bloodworth Hamilton. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Pete A. Chairez (Sonja Velvet) of Knoxville, Tenn.; three sons, Donnie Judy of St. Matthews, Reggie Judy and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Judy Jr. (Diane), all of Orangeburg; a sister, Ruby Lee Fletcher of Rome, Ga.; seven grandchildren, A. David Chairez of West Virginia, Sonja Velvet Chairez of Knoxville, Reggie Judy Jr., Michael Judy, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bell (Tina Judy), all of Orangeburg, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Dyches (Debra) of Lexington, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Abram Judy (Rachel) of Orangeburg; five great-grandchildren, Austin Dyches, Charles Michael Judy, Elizabeth Judy, Michael Bell and Paisley Bell.
