Surviving relatives are the husband, George Hartman; 1 son, Albert and one daughter, Ethel, at home; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jacob of Marion, Ore. and three brothers and three sisters at Stanton, Neb. Mrs. Hartman was a member of the Rebekah and Royal Neighbors soscieties at Weaver, and was widely known and universally liked in the community where she resided. Burlington Hawk-Eye: Mrs. George Hartman, died at her home, three and one half miles south of Wever, a victim of pneumonia. Bertha Jacobs was born in Mount Union, Iowa August 17, 1881, and was married to George Hartman in Burlington, September 18, 1900. She is survived by the husband, and two children, Albert, age 16 and Ethel, age 12. Many friends will honor her memory. The funeral will be held from the home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with interment in Sand Ridge cemetery.
