Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her husband, the late Joseph Turner. She is survived by three daughters, Lena, wife of the late Garfield Conrad; Nellie, Mrs. Maurice Feener, Liverpool; Kathleen, Mrs. Albert Sarty, Liverpool; two sons, Edward and Walter, who resided with his mother; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Taylor, Bridgetown; and Mrs. Lettie Hannam, West Dalhousie; and a great number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her husband, the late Joseph Turner. She is survived by three daughters, Lena, wife of the late Garfield Conrad; Nellie, Mrs. Maurice Feener, Liverpool; Kathleen, Mrs. Albert Sarty, Liverpool; two sons, Edward and Walter, who resided with his mother; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Taylor, Bridgetown; and Mrs. Lettie Hannam, West Dalhousie; and a great number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Turner was a seamstress, a member of Willow Rebekah Lodge, Hemford, and was the first noble grand of this Lodge. She was a member of the Baptist Church, West Dalhousie. The funeral, which was largely attended, was held from the Union Church, Simpson's Corner on Monday at 2 p.m., Rev.Peter MacDonald officiating. Favourite hymns of the deceased were sung,"The Old Rugged Cross," "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and "Abide With Me." Interment was in Hillside Cemetery. Pall bearers were Robert Emino, Charlie Emino, Ellard Simpson, and Percy Simpson. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
