She attained the age of 76 years, one month and 11 days. Officiating during the service was the Rev. Hugh Brewer. Interment was held in the Lennox Cemetery. Bertha G. On Nov. 9, 1946 she was united in marriage to Dick Stack at the Lutheran Church in Canton. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Stack, on Feb. 24, 2972; her husband, Dick Stack, on July 2, 1986; her father, Ben Gayken, on July 11, 1965; her mother, Anna Gayken, on Mar. 24, 1977; four brothers, Tony Gayken in 1962; Richard Gayken in 1967; Henry Gayken in 1976; and Willie Gayken in 1993. Grateful for having shared her life are her granddaughter, Denise B. Jorgensen, and her husband, Cory, of Lennox; two great-granddaughters: Brittany and Abby; her daughter-in-law, Judy Craig and her husband, Van of Lennox; one granddaughter, Christie; two grandsons, Tom Burdick and his wife, Becky and two great-granddaughters, Kyle and Haley of Mitchell; Chad Patch and his wife, Jerri and one great-granddaughter, Natalie, of Sioux Falls; one brother, Ben E. Gayken and his wife, Garldyne, of Mesa, Arizona; two special nephews: Gary Gayken and his wife, Linda, and Robert Gayken and his wife, Lynn, all of Lennox; plus many more nieces and nephews and their children.
