Description	:	Bertha Huseby, 92 Bertha Huseby died Tuesday, September 1, 1998, at the Dell Rapids Community Nursing Home in Dell Rapids. Bertha was born on July 6, 1906, to parents Sigrud and Gjertine Huseby in the home of her father built after immigrating with her family from Norway. She attended school in Baltic and later worked as a bookkeeper at the Farmers Creamery in Baltic and Dell Rapids. She later worked as a bookkeeper for the Baltic Coop Lumber Company and then four the Baltic Farmers Elevator Company in Baltic until retiring in 1975. Bertha was born on July 6, 1906, to parents Sigrud and Gjertine Huseby in the home of her father built after immigrating with her family from Norway. She attended school in Baltic and later worked as a bookkeeper at the Farmers Creamery in Baltic and Dell Rapids. She later worked as a bookkeeper for the Baltic Coop Lumber Company and then four the Baltic Farmers Elevator Company in Baltic until retiring in 1975. Grateful for having shared her life are her special friends, Ken and Joyce Alfson, Baltic, and their family and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ingrid, and a brother, Nels. Services were held Friday, September 4, 1998, at Baltic Lutheran Church, Baltic, with Rev. Olaf Roynesdal officiating. Murial Eliason was organist and Betsy Wallace was soloist. Ken Alfson, Leo G. Skancke, Elmer Haugen, Jr., Gerald Johsnon, Richard Johnson and Rodney Docken served as casket bearers.
