Description	:	Loris B. J. Gerald, age 64, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012, at her home. Ms. Gerald was born October 16, 1947, in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Richard I. M. Bell, Sr. and the late Flora Marie Elvis Bell. She was a member of Bayboro Baptist Church and worked as a dispatcher for the Loris Police Department. B. J. enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother, Richard I. M. Bell, Jr. and one sister-in-law Gloria Bell. Ms. Gerald was born October 16, 1947, in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Richard I. M. Bell, Sr. and the late Flora Marie Elvis Bell. She was a member of Bayboro Baptist Church and worked as a dispatcher for the Loris Police Department. B. J. enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother, Richard I. M. Bell, Jr. and one sister-in-law Gloria Bell. Survivors include one son, Scott Gerald and his fiancé Candice Collins of Loris; two daughters, Tracy Holmes and her husband Fred, and Rhonda Brinson and her husband Gary all of Loris; three brothers, James M. Bell, Rev. Jimmy A. Bell and his wife Kathy, and Rev. Larry Bell and his wife Evelyn all of Loris; one sister, Barbara Collins of Fork, SC; one sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Bell of Loris; six grandchildren, Shae Holmes, Ty Holmes, Alex Brinson, Victoria Brinson, Evan Gerald, and Bentley Gerald; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2012, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at Bayboro Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Alford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
