Description	:	MYERS, BERTHA M.—Thursday afternoon, August 3, 1933, at about 4 o’clock, Mrs. Leslie L. Myers passed away at her home, eight miles southeast of Geneva. Mrs. Myers, whose maiden name was Bertha White, was born at Brimfield, Ill., November 7, 1882. Read More	MYERS, BERTHA M.—Thursday afternoon, August 3, 1933, at about 4 o’clock, Mrs. Leslie L. Myers passed away at her home, eight miles southeast of Geneva. Mrs. Myers, whose maiden name was Bertha White, was born at Brimfield, Ill., November 7, 1882. As a child of three years, she moved with her parents to Sutton, Neb., where she lived until her marriage to Leslie L. Myers, September 16, 1903. She took up her residence with her husband on a farm near Geneva where she had since lived. For many years she had not been in good health, and had submitted to several operations. The last one was a year ago from which she rallied and recovered sufficiently to get about the house for a while, and even to make several trips to town, but her recovery did not prove lasting. Last February she was forced to her bed, from which she did not arise. Loved ones left behind are her husband and two children, Floyd R. Myers of Geneva and Mrs. Ada C. Demaree of Stanton; a little grandson Don Max Demaree; also her father, George M. White of Geneva and two sisters, Mrs. Alma Sharpely of Stoneham, Col., and Mrs. Lola Timmons of Omaha. Her mother, two brothers and two children preceded her in death. She was a good daughter, a good wife, a steadfast friend and a true Christian and like the aroma of a passing bouquet so will the fragrance of the beautiful life remain as a rich memory. Funeral services were conducted at the Geneva Methodist Church Sunday afternoon by her pastor, Rev. W. H. Shoaf. Beautiful flowers in profusion bore testimony of the love and esteem in which Mrs. Myers was held by a large circle of relatives and friends. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
