Description	:	Bertha Marie Bamford, 86, of Woodbine, Iowa died on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at the Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine, Iowa. She attended country school and graduated from Woodbine High School in 1943. She then took the Normal Training and began teaching in the country schools. Bertha graduated from Dana College in Blair and continued teaching in Harrison and Pottawattamie County schools. She retired in 1987.
