Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Koehler, 86, were conducted Tuesday, September 6, at St. John's Lutheran church in Groton. Mrs. Koehler had passed away early Sunday morning at her home. Burial was in the Groton cemetery. Bertha Koehler was born February 10, 1874, in Germany. At the age of 18 she came to Minnesota where she was united in marriage to William Koehler on September 16, 1893. To this union three sons were born, Arthur, George and William. Read More	Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Koehler, 86, were conducted Tuesday, September 6, at St. John's Lutheran church in Groton. Mrs. Koehler had passed away early Sunday morning at her home. Burial was in the Groton cemetery. Bertha Koehler was born February 10, 1874, in Germany. At the age of 18 she came to Minnesota where she was united in marriage to William Koehler on September 16, 1893. To this union three sons were born, Arthur, George and William. She had been a resident of the Groton area since 1910. Survivors include tow sons, George and William, both of Groton, one sister, Mrs. Sam Wiese of Wells, Minn., eight grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, a sone, Arthur, her parents and four brothers. Relatives from away who attended the last rites included Mrs. Amanda Koehler, Russell Koehler and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Holmgran, all of Valley City, N. D., Mrs. Helen Doering, Olivia, Minn., Ronald Koehler, Bird Island, Minn., Mrs. Frances Springer, Hector, Minn., Mrs. Louie Krueger, Mankato, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Ted Everson, Garden City, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Ray Swenson, Mr. and Mrs. Melford Horneman and son and Mr. and Mr. Albert Horneman, all of LeSueur, Minn., Marvin Horneman, Owatonna, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Horneman, Richmond, S. D., and Mr. and Mrs. James Horneman, Mrs. Joan Barker and son, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Horneman Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Horneman, all of Aberdeen.
