Mrs, Poston was born in Andrews, a daughter of the late John Elmon and Lillie Douglas Miller. She was a member of Pamplico First Baptist Church and a member of the Pamplico Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was formerly employed for 26 years by Marsh Lumber Co., and was the retired owner and operator of Poston™s Cleaners. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. E.B. Read More	PAMPLICO "Bertie Evelyn Miller Poston, 88, of Pamplico, died Tuesday evening, March 8, 2005, in a Florence medical facility after an illness. Mrs, Poston was born in Andrews, a daughter of the late John Elmon and Lillie Douglas Miller. She was a member of Pamplico First Baptist Church and a member of the Pamplico Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was formerly employed for 26 years by Marsh Lumber Co., and was the retired owner and operator of Poston™s Cleaners. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. E.B. Poston, who died in 1987. Surviving are a brother, Earl Dean (Peggy) Miller of Pamplico; a sister, Mary Katherine Lyday of Pisgah Forest, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Memorials may be made to Pamplico First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 248, Pamplico, SC 29583 or to a charity of one™s choice. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, in Pamplico First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Woodside Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dean Miller, 910 Vivian Road, Pamplico.
