She was born, Bessie A. Peters, daughter of John and Frances Vochoska Peters on July 6, 1901 at Oxford Junction. She moved to Marion in 1908 with her parents and has made her home in this city since that time. On April 9, 1920 she was married to Mr. Davin at Marion. Milo Davin, 64, 2598 Third ave., Marion, passed away Sunday morning, March 27 at a Cedar Rapids hospital after a long illness. She was born, Bessie A. Peters, daughter of John and Frances Vochoska Peters on July 6, 1901 at Oxford Junction. She moved to Marion in 1908 with her parents and has made her home in this city since that time. On April 9, 1920 she was married to Mr. Davin at Marion. Mrs. Davin was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Gold Star Mothers and the Ladies Auxiliary to Marion Post No. 298, American Legion. Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Joseph P. Maiers of San Berardino, Calif.; three sons,, Theodel Davin, Marion, T/Sgt. Ernest R. Davin with the air force in Germany, and Spec. 4c Richard E. Davin with the U.S. army in Germany; four grandchildren, James, Bobbie, Susie and Mike Maiers of San Bernardino; a sister, Mrs. Frances J. Olney of Champaign, Ill., and a brother, August J. Peters of Chicago, Ill. A son, Robert L. Davin was killed in action in Germany during World War II and two sisters, Susie Johnson and Irene Jurgensen preceded her in death. A Requiem High Mass was offered by Rev. William H. Blessington at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marion. Interment was in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion.
