The daughter of Robert and Alice Roach Dickerson, she was born at Hedrick Sept. 4, 1891. She had been an Ottumwa resident 45 years, and was a member of First Christian Church. Surviving are two sons, Cecil Lewis of Silver Spring, Md., and David R. Lewis Jr. of Ottumwa; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine King of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Valetta Gordon of Miami, Fla.,; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Nora Litchfield of Arlington, Va. Her husband, David, died in 1961. One son, one daughter, four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. The body will be returned to Ottumwa to Johnson Funeral Chapel. Richard Goins of First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Floyd and Robert Dickerson, and Donald, Keith, Randall and Warren Decker.
