Despite the inclemency of the weather a large number gathered at her late home and the capacity of the rooms was taxed to the utmost. The deceased was the daughter of the late Asa Shiverick, one of the prominent townsmen of the place. She is survived by two brothers, Messrs. A. Frank Shiverick of Chicago, and Arthur Shiverick of Omaha, Neb., and two sisters, Mrs. George M. Morley of Cambridge, and Mrs. Walter O. Luscombe of this place, and her mother. She was a regular attendant at the Church of the Messiah in this village, and had been an active member, of the Ladies Church Work association of that church. The floral tributes were many and beautiful, and included a spray of white roses tied with violets from Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Morley, a basket of lilies of the valley and roses from Miss Helen and Master Bob Luscombe, a wreath with violets from Mrs. A. Shiverick, violet cross from Mrs. Charles Shiverick of Omaha, spray of roses from Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Luscombe, a basket of lilies of the valley from the Church Work association, bouquet of pink carnations from the Sunday school class of the deceased. The services were conducted by the Rev. George Fisher of the Church of the Messiah, and a mixed quartet composed of Mr. Franklin L. Gifford and Dr. Lewis Cummings Weeks and the Misses Margaret C. David and Nellie Powers, with Mr. Wallace Young as accompanist rendered the music of the occasion. Owing to the severity of the northeast storm which raged during the day, and which had reached its height at about the close of the services, the interment was postponed until Friday morning at ten o'clock. The heartfelt sympathy of the community in which the deceased was so well known and much beloved is extended to the bereaved family. -------------------------
