Description	:	Bessie married Jesse Mutchler December 20, 1911. A fun story that Jesse liked to tell when she and Jesse got their marriage license, he was asked how old he was and said 19. She also responded 19 when asked when she was 19, she said "Tomorrow." Jesse owned a horse when they were married and traded it for a piano for his wife. Music was a big part of Bessie's life. A lady, Dallas Corrigan, stayed with er for about a year and half in the new house that she and Jesse had built. Then she went to the Maplecrest rest home in Bucyrus and stayed there until medical problems requiring a nurse caused her to move to the Heartland nursing home in Bucyrus where she died in 1988. Her grandson J. Paul Mutchler, officiated at her funeral services.
