Andreesen, died at her home in Anamosa early Friday morning, July 12,1974, after a brief illness. She was born at Olin, July 25, 189S, the daughter of Thomas and Susanna Coppess Horr. she received her education in the area school and on Feb. 27, 1924, was united in marriage to John C. Andreesen at the Wayne Zion Lutheran church. The couple made their home on a farm near Anamosa until moving to Anamosa in 1959. Mr. Andreesen preceded her in death June 28,1970. Mrs. Andreesen is survived by three children, Robert Andreesen of Center Junction, Betty Andreesen of Tampa, Fla., and John E. Andreesen of Anamosa. Also surviving are five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Miles Glick of Olin, Mrs. Adolph Barta of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Frank Goodenow of Maquoketa. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, parents, one sister and three brothers. Funeral services were held at the St Paul's Lutheran church Monday afternoon, July 15, at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Harvey 0. Gilbertson officiating. Interment was in Cedar Memorial cemetery at Cedar Rapids. Casket bearers were David Burns, James Glick, Henry Siebels, Garret Gerdes, jr., Darrel Goodenow and Richard Andreesen.
