Description	:	Onawa, Iowa—Mrs. Bessie Thomas, 71, of Onawa, a lifetime resident of Monona and Harrison Counties, died Monday, September 19th 1955 at her home after a short illness. She had lived here since 1949. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church of this city. Rev. E.E. Epperson officiating. Burial was made in the Soldier Valley Cemetery under the direction of the Pearson Funeral Home.
