Betsy Kae Kendall Miller, the daughter of William and Madge Cooper Kendall was born on September 20, 1935, in Newton, Iowa. She was a graduate of Newton High School in 1954. On October 10, 1954, Betsy married Tom V. Miller at the United Presbyterian Church in Newton. They were the parents of three children, Tim, Pam, and Christopher. Betsy retired from Peoples Natural Gas as a customer service representative. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Byrdene Winn Kendall; husband, Tom in September of 2015; and son, Christopher W. "Chris" Miller in April of 2015. Survivors include her children, Tim (Cindy) Miller of Newton and Pam Miller of Newton; grandsons; great-grandchildren; stepbrother, Calvin Winn of Newton; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Hunt of Apache Junction, Arizona, and Dee Kendall of Houston, Texas.
