She was born in Beaverton, Michigan on February 15, 1933, the daughter of Wesley Curtis & Margaret E. Brubaker. Betty was married to John Sheets on April 19, 1952; killed in the Korean War. Betty married Don Rellinger on September 12, 1953; he preceded her in death in 1959. She married Herman George Wright on March 5, 1962, who preceded her in death in 2010. Read More	Betty Ann Wright, 81, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 in Gladwin. She was born in Beaverton, Michigan on February 15, 1933, the daughter of Wesley Curtis & Margaret E. Brubaker. Betty was married to John Sheets on April 19, 1952; killed in the Korean War. Betty married Don Rellinger on September 12, 1953; he preceded her in death in 1959. She married Herman George Wright on March 5, 1962, who preceded her in death in 2010. Betty was employed with Dow Chemical and later she and Don were co-owner/operators of the Wooden Shoe Bar in Gladwin. After raising her children she worked for Dr. Marshall Grillo handling various administrative responsibilities. She was active in the community serving on the School Board for several terms, hosting a community radio show on WJEB 1350 AM for 8 years, and working with several volunteer organizations. She is survived by her children: Mary Lou (Tom) Davis of Mishawaka, Indiana; Jeff (Donna) Rellinger of Encino, California; Steve (Lynn) Rellinger of Lake Isabella, Michigan; Tom (Diane) Rellinger of Rochester, Michigan; Ann (Rob) Simmons of Cranleigh, England. Their children gave them 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands: John Sheets, Don Rellinger, and Herman Wright; son: Mike Wright; 3 brothers: Ronald "R.C." Brubaker; Harold Brubaker; Paul Brubaker; 2 sisters: Donna Murphy; Dorothy Rellinger. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Tony Reynolds of the Gladwin Church of Christ on Thursday, July 3, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 5-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Tobacco Twp. (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan. Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to the Betty A. Brubaker Family of Heros Scholarship at CMU (www.fundcmu.com/campaign/detail/2257). This scholarship supports active duty, National Guard, reserves and veterans who are struggling financially to complete their CMU degree.
