She died on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at her residence in Brookings at the age of 69. Betty attended school in Geddes, SD, and was a graduate of the Geddes High School in 1955. Read More	Betty Ann Mohror was born on April 20, 1937 in Ravinia, South Dakota, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Fuchs) Rysavy. She died on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at her residence in Brookings at the age of 69. Betty attended school in Geddes, SD, and was a graduate of the Geddes High School in 1955. She was united in marriage to Keith F. Mohror on December 28, 1955 in Brookings, SD. Betty and Keith lived in rural Brookings, where they raised one son and four daughters. She was employed at SDSU from 1970 until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Brookings, the Sioux Valley Extension Club and Homemakers Club. She was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Elk Does. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Betty is survived by her husband, Keith of Brookings, SD; one son Bradley (Terri) of Chamberlain, SD; three daughters, Nancy (Keith) Zielke of Scott City, KS, Diane (Todd) Larimer of Benkelman, NE, and Carole Mohror of Tea, SD; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Orlean Rysavy of Portland, OR, Beverly (Bill) Heylens of Bruce, SD, Barbara Mohror of Estelline, SD, and Aledain Mohror of Muscatine, IA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter (Susan and her husband Marlon Selken in 1976) and five brothers (Thomas, Emil, Steve, William, and Charles), one sister (Alice), two sisters-in-law (Antonia and Harriet) and one brother-in-law (Henry). Interment in Greenwood Cemetery Brookings, SD. Arrangements by Rude's Funeral Home Brookings, SD.
