Read More	Betty Lurlene Bammann Crumpacker July 4, 1931 - May 21, 2017 Betty Lurlene Bammann Crumpacker died at 4:30 p.m. on May 21, 2017, at the age of 85. Betty was born on July 4, 1931, at the home of her parents, Clarence and Druella Bammann, in rural Girard, KS. She married the love of her life, Marvin Dean Crumpacker, on September 12, 1948, at Beulah, KS, and the couple began their life together farming around the Girard area. However, the couple spent most of their 53 wedded years at their 609 West Martin home in Pittsburg, KS. Both Betty and Marvin were known in the community for the time they spent working for various lumber companies in Pittsburg and Girard. Both were members of the Osage Church of the Brethren near McCune, Kansas. Dean, as he was lovingly known by Betty, preceded her in death on February 26, 2001. Mrs. Crumpacker spent the last 15 years of her life living in the Oklahoma City area. She had several good years living in her apartment in Yukon, OK, before her health caused her to need more care. Betty is survived by a daughter, Becky Plummer of Owasso, OK, and a son, Ron Crumpacker of Yukon, OK. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great, great, grandchildren.
