Description	:	Betty Blanche Fritcher was born November 2,1922, near Henderson, Iowa the daughter of Arthur Carl and Addie Florence Danforth Fritcher. She was baptized in the Christian church in Elliott, Iowa in 1940. She graduated from the Henderson high school with the Class of 1940. She was a professional trick rider with the rodeo for several years, starting at the age of 7. She was married June 23,1943 toPaul Talkington in his home town, Cottonwood Falls, Kansas and has lived since he marriage at various times in Kansas, California, and Iowa. Read More	Betty Blanche Fritcher was born November 2,1922, near Henderson, Iowa the daughter of Arthur Carl and Addie Florence Danforth Fritcher. She was baptized in the Christian church in Elliott, Iowa in 1940. She graduated from the Henderson high school with the Class of 1940. She was a professional trick rider with the rodeo for several years, starting at the age of 7. She was married June 23,1943 toPaul Talkington in his home town, Cottonwood Falls, Kansas and has lived since he marriage at various times in Kansas, California, and Iowa. Two sons were born to this union. Paul and Marc Allen. She died on Oct. 3,1979 at the Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, following an exteded illness. She was preceded in death by one sister in infancy. Services for Betty Talkington were held at the Christian church in Henderson, Friday, Oct. 5,1979 at 2p.m. with the Rev. Gerald Caughron and the Rev. Al Cookson officiating. Music was provided by Erlin Fenn, vocalist and Dorthy Harbor, organist. Selections chosen were " In the Garden" and " Sometime We'll Understand." Beverly Boileau was in charge of the memorial book. Those assisting with flowers were Opal June Smith, Ruby Carr, and Velva Achenbaugh. Ushers were Leo Boileu and Carrol Phillips. Casket bearers were Lewis Trackett, Harry Paul, E.N. Brown, Morris Harbor, Ray Carr, and Dan Smith. Interment was in the Farm Creek Cemetery with the Mc-Kee Funeral Home of Carson in charge of arrangements.
