Read More	MOUNTAIN LAKE PARK — Betty Jane Wildesen, 81, of Mountain Lake Park, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at the Oakland Nursing and Rehab Center. Born Aug. 9, 1928, in Swanton, she was the daughter of the late Umber Wellington and Mary Ellen (O'Brien) Bray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harley M. Wildesen, on Jan. 15, 2000; by brothers "G.W." Wells Bray, Gary D. Bray, Bob Bray, and Elwood Bray; and one sister, Gladys Winnegar. Mrs. Wildesen was a member and Past President of the Deer Park VFD Ladies Auxiliary, the Allegany-Garrett County VFD Ladies Auxiliary; past Girl Scout Leader in Swanton, Past President of the Heart Fund (American Heart Association), Site Manger of the Swanton Community Center, former Sunday School Teacher at the Swanton Otterbein United Meth-odist Church, member of the Church of Christ in Oakland; involved with the Buckhannon Charge of the United Methodist Church, Flower Chairman of the Garrett County Fair; was involved with many other community affairs and fund-raising. Surviving are four sons, Gerald W. Wildesen and wife Sheila, of Mountain Lake Park, Harold F. Wildesen and wife Chris, of Crellin, Darrell M. Wildesen, of Wellersburg, Pa., and fiancee Sue Dom, and Richard W. Wildesen, of Keyser; two brothers, Roger Bray, of Deer Park, and Lonnie Bray, of Cumberland; two sisters, Leota Savage, of Swanton, and Helen Crummett, of Fredericksburg, Va.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, on Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Preacher William Dayton officiating. Interment will follow in Garrett Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her name to the American Heart Association or to Hospice of Garrett County.
