Description	:	Betty Jane Waters, 81, of Luray, died on Monday, July 15, 2013, at MontVue Nursing Home. She was born on Aug. 30, 1931, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Robert A. Comer and Pearl Elizabeth Dodson Comer. Mrs. Waters had worked for Luray Textile and was a member of the Luray Church of the Brethren. On Feb. 1, 1952, she married Arthur Edward Waters, who died on May 4, 1984 . She is survived by four sons, Kenneth Lee, Joey, Donald "Buck" and Ronald Waters, all of Luray; a brother, Joseph M. Comer of Luray; three sisters, Sandra Reed and Sue Dawson, both of Stanley, and Shelby J. Shenk of Harrisonburg; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Arthur W., David Lynn and James Edward Waters; three sisters, Lula Belle Sigler, Lois Rickard and Ann Elizabeth Good; and two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Comer. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, at Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Pastor Rebecca Harding.
