In 1938, she became a member of the United Methodist church at Oscoela and then graduated from Osceola High school in 1942. In 1947, Betty was married to Raymond Rech in Hiawatha, Kansas. She joined the Order of the Eastern Star in 1956. Betty loved to cook and entertain her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. There will be no visitation or services. It was Betty's wish to be cremated and she will be inurned into the Shelby Cemetery. Metz Mortuary of York is handling arrangements.
